Hollis McCracken has loved art and animals all of her life. Her early sketchbooks from elementary school were entirely filled with drawings of various dog breeds, but her dog Gizmo was always her main muse and inspiration.
Hollis trained for four years at the Academy of Art University in San Francisco, California and graduated with my Bachelor of Fine Art in 2011. While she focused on fine art and sculpture during college, she never gave up painting pets on the side. Hollis has done commissions that were gifts for others, gifts to oneself, and portraits of recently passed pets as remembrance.
Whatever your interest in a portrait, Hollis would love the opportunity to paint your pets and give their adorable mug shots
a place on the wall.
